Full Out^® For Community: Faris Team Donates $84,000 To Barrie Food Bank

From the very beginning, it's always been really important to us to give back to the communities we serve, and we are honoured to be able to do so, thanks to our clients.

On October 6th, 2022, during the Grand Opening celebration of our new Barrie Headquarters office at 443 Bayview Drive, Faris Team presented a cheque for $84,000 to the Barrie Food Bank Executive Director, Sharon Palmer.

Barrie Food Bank is a local charity that is very near and dear to our hearts. Their vision is for a community where no one ever goes hungry, helping families in need when they need it most. Barrie Food Bank has been a continued source of relief for many local families, and we are honoured to partner with them. 

Our mission has always been to go full out^® for our clients, our team, and our community. For every home purchased or sold, Faris Team donates $100 to a local charity partner within the eight markets they serve in Ontario and Southwest Florida as part of Faris Cares. 

Each year we present a cheque to our local charity partners, but this year felt different. This past year has been turbulent for so many in our local community, with inflation rising, interest rate hikes and the cost of living increasing. Sharon Palmer mentioned that this year they have doubled the guests due to inflation. This includes the cost of food. As a result, more families are seeking help than ever before as they try to cope with current events as they evolve. 

We felt truly honoured to be able to make this donation to help make a difference for so many in Barrie. We are filled with so much gratitude for our clients. They have helped make this possible by choosing Faris Team and trusting us with their greatest asset.
