It’s that time of year! This weekend Christmas tree farms are open for business across Simcoe County, hosting an outdoor activity the whole family can safely enjoy. Remember to call ahead to find out each location’s operation policies during Covid-19.

Here’s a selection of places to choose-and-cut a fresh Christmas tree this holiday season:

Laura’s Christmas Trees

998024 Mulmur Tosorontio Townline, Mulmur

A family-operated, pesticide-free Christmas tree farm. All trees are pruned by hand (by Laura). You can use the trail system (over 2 km) to walk around the property to find that perfect tree for you and your family. Dog-friendly for friendly dogs. Complementary hot chocolate, dog treats and candy canes on weekends in December while supplies last.

Drysdale’s Tree Farm

Cut-your-own or choose a pre-cut tree for purchase and visit the Evergreen Store for all of your holiday gift and décor needs. While things are operating a bit differently this year, Drysdale’s looks forward to being a continued part of your family’s Christmas traditions.

Georgian Bay Tree Farms

Gather with loved ones to find the perfect Christmas tree on the grounds of Georgian Bay Tree Farms. Although annual highlights like The Red Shed gift shop are closed this season, wreaths are available and tractor rides are running for household groups. Saws will be disinfected after use, but bringing your own is encouraged.
